Natural Remedies for Athlete’s Foot

1) White Vinegar, Tea Tree Oil and Listerine

There are quite a few natural remedies that can do various jobs in treating Athlete’s Foot. White vinegar should be used by soaking your feet into white vinegar diluted with plenty of water for at least 20 minutes a day. Apart from white vinegar, Listerine is a great mouthwash that can dissolve and kill bacteria around the teeth. Similarly, Listerine can help fight against the fungus and provide immediate relief from severe itching on the feet.

Rub tea tree oil and baking soda between your two fingers separately for at least 15 minutes a day. Both tea tree oil and baking soda have antifungal properties that can kill fungus growing on your feet.

2) Apple Cider Vinegar

One of the greatest natural remedies for Athlete’s Foot is apple cider vinegar. For low to mild levels of Athlete’s Foot, you should consider applying diluted apple cider vinegar with water on your skin. If you’re suffering from more severe cases of Athlete’s Foot, try using undiluted apple cider vinegar for a stronger effect on the fungus.

3) Healthy Diet

Garlic, fresh fruits and vegetables have good amounts of antioxidants that can help fight against fungus. However, avoid alcohol, greasy foods, fizzy drinks, sugar and grains.
